Dear Friends, thank you again for all your prayers for me and over Amie and I. As of last evening, Fri night, I was released from the hospital and given a green light to return home Sunday. All glory to God! Every victory is important to our faith!
The situation with my heart was greatly intensified by a critical lack of red blood cells in my body. With this extreme imbalance my heart was acting up in a serious way and needed to be brought back into alignment. The Lord gave my doctors great wisdom and after several days of treatment and rest things begin to turn around.
Please continue to pray that the Lord would open the door for Kidney transplant and that His healing power would be upon this vessel of mine. There are many battles that lay ahead in this season but His grace is sufficient for me! There is nothing short of full life and health to do the work of the Lord that will satisfy me and your prayers are keeping that call alive. Thank you for being obedient in prayer and for loving Amie and I! We appreciate it!

Heart Exam Update
Saturday, March 30th, 2013Heart Exam
Wednesday, March 27th, 2013Dear Friends, Unfortunately my writing to you of late seems to be all about health concerns. Today at 11am eastern I was somewhat unexpectedly admitted to the hospital due to some reoccurring heart symptoms that have plagued me for the last 2 years (and become more critical in nature the last 2 weeks). In Dec, If you remember, I had a pretty major procedure to eradicate the problem completely, and obviously that did not work to the level we had hoped. Throughout today I will be undergoing testing to determine the best course of action moving forward. There are several options on the table and, as always, the Master’s Healing touch is the primary object of our faith. Depending on the outcome of today’s testing we will determine a course of action to address this current situation. As we know more I will be communicating to you through this blog and by way of twitter. Please pray for my faith to remain strong and the spirits of Amie and I to be high. Pray also for great wisdom for Doc Crandall in knowing exactly what to do (and what NOT to do). Finally, know that your prayers mean so much and your vigilance to stand with me is nothing sort of God’s divine love. Many Blessings! Joel
!Hola from Mexico! (from Amy)
Tuesday, December 25th, 2007HI everyone! First of all, I just want to send out big hugs to everyone who has been in prayer for me. I have felt your prayers and know that if it weren’t for them I would not be where I am right now.
To start things off, I have a new testimony to tell you. The first day that I was here one of the lymphnodes in my neck had swollen to the size of a tennis ball. It was very painful and uncomfortable. Well to the doctors surprise that same lymphnode had shrunk to the size of a quarter by the next day! It has continued to shrink further and will be gone soon in Jesus name.
The doctors here at the Oasis of Hope are wonderful Christians and have been filled with hope and love. After trying 3 different kinds of chemo I felt that a different approach was necessary. The Lord really opened a door of favor to this clinic where they offer treatment by using natural medicine and alternate treatment options. They are believing with me for total healing and have provided a faith-filled atmosphere to do so. The doctors have recommended that I be here for 18 days and so, Lord willing, I will return on Sunday the 6th of Jan. Joel and I are in agreement and I hope you will join with us to believe that when I come home it will be with a clean bill of health. God is able!
Ps. Eat your veggies!
Believing for Good Report
Friday, November 16th, 2007For all of you who are standing with Amy and I in this battle I believe that this Monday is a time for further confirmation of what God is doing in Amy’s body. She will be going back to MD Anderson and running diagnostics on where her condition stands. We know, no matter what, that she is healed! Her last trip saw a complete turnaround in her situation and we look to hear more of the same this trip. Please pray for strength and favor as she travels there and back AGAIN!
This week has brought the most strength, appetite, and overall health than we have seen since her diagnosis in June. Praise God! His grace has been suffecient but the end will be a welcome relief when Jesus the Healer manifests Himself and fulfills His promise of all-ready paid for healing.
1 Peter 2:24b- You have been healed by His wounds!
