I've noticed that nowadays it's been the norm to brag about the freedom that we've got, however, what we fail to realize is that we have no freedom without Christ. The first part of the message really spoke to me. To me Egypt isn't going back to sin, but my Egypt is a season and place that the Lord has clearly delivered me from, yet in moments of doubt in the desert , I tend to look back and long for the comfort and familiarity of that past season.....but I know that God has a promised land for me if I will continue to walk by Faith. It was just a very timely word for me. The Holy Spirit never ceases to amaze me. :-) I wasn’t able to be there Sunday morning, but i caught the podcast. We must pray for Americans on the fence to understand that "America can't continue as the breadbasket of the world in an environment of chaos and confusion". Any elementary plan of attack to delay or stop an achievement begins with little distortions of the truth, and the spirit of sexual confusion has moved into a whole new phase of battle from GBLTs as victims or cultured to a way of life promoted as normal. Part of the problem is that there are so many wicked non-GBLTs, but it must be said again & again that the unthinkable sometimes happens, and faith in the Word of God must be held firm. As you said, American Christians need to know the Bible is "not a self-help book", and "we must be careful not to scoff at the word of God" or our "Jerusalem can turn into Babylon". (beg pardon if these quotes are not exact; my notes aren't perfect.) I think you are dead on that the spirits of Baal and Ashtoreth are hard at work building forces in our nation to destroy the God-fearing backbone of America to weaken the spread of the gospel in the hope that God will cast us out from his presence. Our role concerning the Nation of Israel is one that needs relentless prayer as we indeed do not want to be on the wrong side of that alignment. For both of these issues, it is so true that we should not "sit back and let future generations fight what we could have deterred."
