Rev. 8:1- When the Lamb broke the seventh seal on the scroll, there was silence throughout heaven for about half an hour.
I write this to all prophets, prophetic people, and believers interested in what is happening in the spirit realm.
Does it strike you funny that there hasn’t been anything of significance happening lately in the body of Christ? Have you heard of anyone doing anything good or bad lately? Has anything miraculous or devastating happened this year? Is it just me? Or does it seem that since the Lakeland Outpouring ended and the election passed there has been a vacuum-like silence in the spirit-realm?

The Lord has been speaking to me lately and pointing out (as if to be watchful and prayerful) that there is a great stillness over the bride as if she is sleeping. Not to say that we are slumbering in a bad way but waiting (as the wise and foolish virgins in Matt. 25) for the coming of the bridegroom at midnight. I see 2 things happening:

1. The foolish virgins are out of oil and slumbering before the rude awakening that the final harvest is upon us and the return of the King is here and they have not stored up extra oil for the final “push” in the preparation of the Bride. People are buying into the lie that we don’t need to evangelize and the message of the Cross is being diluted and polluted down to a level of carnality that keeps the flesh comfortable and the Spirit grieved.

2. The wise virgins are being restful and watchful for what is to come next from our Commander in Chief. This stillness that I feel in my spirit is like the calm before the storm and is a divine opportunity to prepare ourselves with extra oil for the whirlwind of harvest and excitement that will come right before the return of the great King. (excitement courses through me at the sound of these words!)

So what should we do? Glad you asked! DRAW NEAR I hear the Lord say in the strongest of terms. Press into My Word, seek after my Spirit, reach out to the lost, strengthen the weak, secure the strong, take nothing for granted!!! Do not be distracted by the economy and political system for My plans and My will are all that should matter for the mature Bride.
Matt. 25:6- At midnight they were roused by the shout, “Look, the bridegroom is coming! Come out and meet Him!”
