Your Prayers Update

Thursday, January 29th, 2009

For all of you who have been praying for me this week I just wanted to let you know that all is well. The surgery was successful and I am recovering rapidly. There has been a pretty good amount of pain after the surgery so continue to pray for all pain to subside. Thank you again for all your prayers and look to hear from me next week. Peace and Love, Joel

Your Prayers Requested

Saturday, January 24th, 2009

Please be in prayer for me this upcoming Tues. the 27th of Jan. I will be going in for an operation to establish a new dialysis access in my right arm. This is just routine junk for a dialysis patient and typical demonic warfare for a revolutionary! My faith is unshaken and my hope in Jesus has never been stronger. His return is near my friends. We can let nothing stop us or hinder the tasks that He has given us in the harvest. John 9:4
I have a passage from Acts 27:25-26 that i will leave you with that best describes this situation: Take courage! For I believe God. It will be just as He said. (many think this means we don’t walk through anything, and boy I wish it were so!) But we will be shipwrecked on an island.
No one wishes more than me that the healing would come before this surgery. And it might! But many times we walk through things on our way to the fulfillment of the promise. Be encouraged and keep me in your prayers. I wiill give an update on the success of the surgery later next week.

War Cry

Friday, January 23rd, 2009

Luke 1:16-17 And he will turn many Israelites to the Lord their God. He will be a man with the SPIRIT and POWER of ELIJAH, He will prepare the people for the coming of the Lord. He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children and he will cause those who are rebellious to accept the wisdom of the godly.

Our church, Bethany, and our youth ministry 220, have been seeking God like many others around the nation for 21 days. Each weeknight at 6pm the youth have been meeting for revival prayer and crying out for a move of God’s Spirit. Last night was the second to last night and after prayer was over we had a 220 leadership meeting. 10 min. into the leadership meeting there was an unusual outpouring of the spirit of prophecy. It was a radical unction of the Holy Spirit that overwhelmed me and our whole team. As the musicians played by inspiration the Lord birthed a word through me of the final battle that has begun for the souls of this vast, global harvest. (When I say birthed, I mean birthed. Afterward there was an unusual weakness and tiredness for the force of the prophetic delivery.)

This was a word that I have been waiting on the Lord to receive for several years now. A word of direction and mobilization concerning what He showed me in 2005 that was simply known as Revolution 09. Many have asked me about this since that initial visitation and I have not knows what the Lord wanted me to do. Now, with this word, I feel the time is now to begin a push for what the Lord Jesus would have us do in this final hour. He is calling us to trumpet a sound of war. Not a war of flesh and blood but a war of the spirit that will literally decide the eternal fate of millions and even billions.
I have posted a link on my page to hear this word in its entirety (42 min.). Please take the time to sit and listen with a heart of prayer and intercession. Be open to how the Lord will speak to you through this word. Beware! It is not for the faint-hearted and the comfortable. Extreme action may follow!

Freedom in Sight

Monday, January 19th, 2009

This past week has been a taste of what is to come for me in being free from the shackles of sickness and dialysis treatments. I was able to be in 3 different cities and see the Lord do unique things in each place. This was not only a blessing to have such opportunities but also is a sign of the freedom that is coming my way THIS YEAR in Jesus name! (Because of my treatments 3 times a week it has always been very difficult for me to travel)
On Tues. I was in Orlando with dad for a great gathering of Charismatic leaders from around the nation. We talked through tough issues that face the church like restoration of fallen leaders, healing racial tensions, and discerning true and false moves of God (revival). It was a great joy to me to sit and hear great men and women of God speak with divine wisdom concerning these ever present issues.
This Friday there was a conf. for youth pastors and leaders in Dallas that I was able to go and speak at. We had a great time as I shared on the counting the cost of being a disciple from Luke 14. While there, I had time to hang out with one of my friends in the ministry who works for Pastor Steve Hill there at Heartland. Speaking of Brownsville revival…
This Sunday we (me and 2 of my mighty men from the north campus) were in the pulpit of that great church in Pensacola where the spirit of God was and is still being poured out. It was my first time to preach there and yet there was a tremendous connection with the people and the leadership of the church. There is definitely something alive in my spirit concerning revival that wasn’t there before. A deep wellspring of God’s Spirit is still abiding in that place. Many were touched as I shared my journey of faith and encouraged them to press on in faith, love in faith, and mature in faith from the 3rd chapter of 1 Thess.
All in all, it has been a great week that speaks of things to come in this new year and new era that God is opening through release from every chain of infirmity. My dungeon door is opening and the apostolic\prophetic flow is about to hit mainstream in Jesus name!
Acts 7:10- But God was with Joseph and rescued him from all his troubles. And God have him favor before Pharaoh, king of Egypt. God also gave Joseph unusual wisdom, so that Pharaoh appointed him governor over all of Egypt and put him in charge of the palace.
