Ancient of Days

So many times we get wrapped up in our problems and circumstances that we forget about the awesomeness of our God. I have been meditating on this exact subject the last couple of days and really having my faith built just thinking on the magnificence of the God I serve. Reading from Dan. 7:9-10 we are given a description of Daniel seeing the Ancient One seated on a throne of fire and from His throne flows a river of fire. This all speaks of tremendous passion that we cannot even fathom that flows from the heart of God. It is a passion of love for His children and a passion of judgment against His enemies. Not only is there passion and fire but also an overwhelming sense of His majesty and splendor. What king needs a milion servants to minister and a hundred million to attend to him? None that we will ever know or see in this world!
When we set our minds on the wonders and glory of heaven and the King of heaven our faith is ignited and our passion for Kingdom expansion explodes through the roof! If you are going through something today or just have forgotten about the incredible God we serve, I encourage you to go through Daniel 7:9-10 and see the God that we serve in all His glory.
Col. 3:1-2– Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits at God’s right hand in the place of honor and power. Let heaven fill your thoughts! Do not think only about things down here on earth.
