HI everyone! First of all, I just want to send out big hugs to everyone who has been in prayer for me. I have felt your prayers and know that if it weren’t for them I would not be where I am right now.
To start things off, I have a new testimony to tell you. The first day that I was here one of the lymphnodes in my neck had swollen to the size of a tennis ball. It was very painful and uncomfortable. Well to the doctors surprise that same lymphnode had shrunk to the size of a quarter by the next day! It has continued to shrink further and will be gone soon in Jesus name.
The doctors here at the Oasis of Hope are wonderful Christians and have been filled with hope and love. After trying 3 different kinds of chemo I felt that a different approach was necessary. The Lord really opened a door of favor to this clinic where they offer treatment by using natural medicine and alternate treatment options. They are believing with me for total healing and have provided a faith-filled atmosphere to do so. The doctors have recommended that I be here for 18 days and so, Lord willing, I will return on Sunday the 6th of Jan. Joel and I are in agreement and I hope you will join with us to believe that when I come home it will be with a clean bill of health. God is able!
Ps. Eat your veggies!

!Hola from Mexico! (from Amy)
Tuesday, December 25th, 2007Miracle in Mexico
Saturday, December 22nd, 2007Dear friends and prayer partners, we have seen a clear direction from the Lord come to clarity (thanks to all your prayers for wisdom) and this week my little darling has headed to Mexico for treatment. This is a facility called Oasis of Hope and is right across the border from San Diego, Cal. The Lord has shown His favor on us and given us connections with the hospital administrator and the doctor who is the chairman of the hospital. We were accepted immediately to this elite clinic and on Wed. the 19th she and her mom flew to California to be admitted for an 18 day round of treatments.
The kind of treatments that we chose for her in this time were all organic and nutritional based. We have seen enough of the chemo for now and believe that if the right stuff goes in her body she will heal herself (with the supernatural help of the Lord on our side). This new direction is something that just came up suddenly and was accompanied by such favor that we knew immediately the Lord had answered our prayer for a new direction. Peace came instantly toward this decision and now we are going to walk out this new found direction with faith and determination.
Please pray for me as I travel to San Diego to be with her this coming Monday. Thank God we will be able to spend Christmas together and I know that all will be well. I will have an update for all of you next week as I get to the clinic and assess what God is doing there in the midst of our situation.
Zeph. 3:16- On that day the announcement to Jerusalem will be, Cheer up, Zion! Don’t be afraid! For the Lord your God has arrived to live among you. He is a mighty savior. He will rejoice over you with great gladness. With His love, He will calm all your fears. He will exult over you by singing a happy song.
Ps. I can’t wait to get some good, authentic Mexican food! Tacos here I come!
New Direction
Monday, December 17th, 2007For all of you joining in prayer with us for Amy’s total healing I would like to have you pray specifically for wisdom. We are at a critical crossroads of decision concerning her treatment options and really need the mind of Christ to discern what is the right course of action.
This past week was a week of turmoil and warfare as Amy ended up in the hospital all week. The enemy is kicking and screaming but he is defeated in the name of Jesus!
Please pray for divine guidance and assurance of the right course in this moment. We are weighing out several options and I believe the HS is going to show us exactly what to do.
James 1:5- If you need wisdom-if you want to know what God wants you to do- ask Him, and he will gladly tell you. He will not resent your asking.
