Wow! the battle can be intense sometimes. Amy and I have really been fighting lately for both of our health. Recently, the doctors found a mass on Amy’s chest and are speaking all kinds of doom and gloom but we have not received any report but God’s. Since early Monday morning Amy has been in the hospital and things have really been crazy! No joke! I feel like I have been in a dream or something. I don’t know if in all my years of battle I have seen anything like this present situation. It reminds me of when Joab and Abishai had to split up forces and fight in the fields and at the gate against the Ammonites (2 Sam. 10 i think). We are fighting on 2 different fronts right now and just as He did for them He will give us victory on both fronts. With my healing so close it would be like the enemy to try and throw a last ditch lying wonder our way and try to demoralize or distract us from the ultimate victory. As you can tell my mouth is full of the Word and our battle gear is on. People are praying all over the country and everyone we have told about this new situation has just been flat out mad at the devil. This is a climate for war that resembles Acts 12. The church put their foot down on the devil when he tried to kill Peter and so we have drawn a line in the sand with this last ridicuous attempt of the enemy to stop what cannot be stopped, the Kingdom!
Some of you may be wondering how in the world this could be, join the club!! I do have in my spirit the words that i penned to title this little article, double portion? double attack! If you want to walk in the double portion of Elisha you must be able to fight battles on both sides. Multiplied attack= multiplied anointing which in the end means multiplied souls and widespread deliverance, HALLELUJAH!! I know that I have used a lot of exclamation points but if this were a sermon I would be shouting and hollering from the fire in my belly. Know that Amy and I are encouraged and the confession of our mouth is nothing but faith, faith, hope, and more faith. We shall see the victory. We shall see 20,000 disciples in one youth ministry as a standard and model for youth ministry in America. We shall see north Baton Rouge rocked with revival. We shall go to the world and bring the apostolic\prophetic to the continents afar. We shall, we shall, we shall!
Please be in prayer for both Amy and I as we are in the thick of the fight. Lift up our hands and the battle shall be won. Thank you for your faithfulness in standing with us. Remember Matt. 10:41- He who receives (or agrees with, stands with) a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward. NKJV

I just want you to be encouraged and know that there are Christians in Baltimore, Md standing with you in prayer. I know that God will give you complete victory in this situation and will truly do above all that you can ever ask, think, or imagine (and I’m sure you’re imagining huge things). “This is what the Lord says to you: Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.
You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you. Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow and the Lord will be with you. Have faith in the Lord your God and you will be upheld…Give thanks to the Lord for His love endures forever.”
Gary was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer 8 yrs ago. The Drs. spoke lots of gloom and doom over that situation BUT GOD! He is healed in Jesus name, lives to serve the Lord and the Glory goes to God!
Pastor Joel, my family has grown so much in the years past under your teaching and your dad’s. Austin has stayed grounded in the Lord and His Word. It is incredible to see how many youth and adults you and Amy are impacting and will impact for the Kingdom of God. I praise God for the testimonies you both have that will speak to so many who need to hear them.

Pastor Joel, I am so angry with Satan. I am tired of him trying to touch the body of God’s anointed ones. I praised God with such intensity this morning that tears continuously flowed. Thank you for reminding me that when we fight battles on both sides, you have my back and I have your back, and because Jesus lives in us we stand in victory. Even though my foot and my knees are under attack, and you and Amy are experiencing TEMPORARY attacks, we still have strength and life to kick the devil. I stand with you in tearing down every assignment of the enemy, and blasting them with the power of the Blood of Jesus. You and Amy have a great Kingdom work to continue, and I believe that the two of you shall see Africa together. I will be flying back to Baton Rouge today with much love, respect, and hope.

Not only is God doing a thing in the area of Baton Rouge but you guys are about to have thousands of youth come into your city next week that are going to be impacted by the word and fire of our God and you guys are going to send them back to their communities changed for the Kingdom of God. The devil knows that not only are guys shaking Baton Rouge,but you are shaking the nation and they youth that are in it. Praise be to God for the victory that we have in Christ Jesus. The devil is absolutely crazy. I want you both to know that the church has being praying for you both like never before. 24 hour prayers are going on all over Baton Rouge. I pray that you both can feel the prayers and comfort & peace of the Holy Ghost surrounding you. We love you guys so much. And I know that the devil is defeated. All he just did now was make the testimony, the victory, and the miracle of both of your healings shack the nations, because in the end GOD gets ALL the GLORY and We WIN!!! Pastor Joel, your testimony is one I could never forget. I am in awe of your constant faith and hope, it is only by the Holy Spirit that you are able to continue to run the race with perseverance.
