Battle Mentality

Hello everyone! I am feeling good and my arm is well enough for me to type again, praise God! This has a been a battle that was won in prayer and it was felt from start to finish. Today I am and thinking of the importance of insight into spiritual warfare. To many the situation going on this moment would have been a crisis in their life because they fail to see the big picture. Amy and I understand that this is one battle in a long line of battles that make up a war. This war is bigger than our lives, ministries, or perceptions. In Heb. 12:1 we see the cloud of witnesses who fought their part in the war but never saw the end. We have not yet seen the end with our natural eyes but yet in our spiritual eyes we know that the war will end in victory for Jesus Christ our Lord and King!
In the long battle for my healing there has been many, many battles. These battles have raged in many places, over many different issues, with many different outcomes. Some battles we have won by faith and prayer while others have been lost in discouragement and isolation. As a battle-tested, spritual warfare veteran I can tell you first hand that you must see every battle for what it is. It is not the end (unless the full promise of God has been made perfect in manifestation) and therefore we must keep fighting on until that perfect victory paid for on Calvary is realized. My faith is stronger than ever after this particular battle for I have seen the power of our unity and corporate prayer and can sense the closeness of complete victory. My senses are heightened to His Word and healing power to destroy the yoke of sickness and bring great glory to His name. Hallelujah!!!
Heb. 12:1-2–Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
FIXING OUR EYES ON JESUS, the author and perfector of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the Cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. NASB

Glory! Pastor Joel, I thank the Lord for a man of God, with “no quit” in him. That’s the kind of tenacity it takes to overcome the devil. The word of the Lord to you is, “the God of peace will crush satan under your feet shortly.” The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. We love you Pastor hurry back.

    Hello Pastor Joel and Amy,

My wife and I are very happy to hear the good report about your health! We are looking forward to seeing you soon. We are in agreement with you according to Romans 8:11 … the same spirit that raised up Christ will quicken (make alive your kidneys) your mortal flesh.

    Love ya
