It’s so good to be home! After 10 or so days in south Fla. Amy and I are back to hot and humid BR. We will be resting primarily until this weekend (with the exception of 220 leadership Thur. night) and I can’t wait to preach this Sunday at our beloved North campus. Nothing excites or encourages my spirit than to be an encouragement to others. I praise God for a speedy recovery from surgery and strength to go back to work on building the Kingdom. All week I have been meditating on Jn. 9:4 NLT where Jesus says- All of us must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the one who sent me, because there is little time left before the night falls and all work comes to and end.
Many would wonder why are you so antsy to get back to work? Because my work is the work of my Father in heaven and will be rewarded for the eternity to come. We are not talking about retirement but heaven! Anyway, I could talk a lot about this subject but the bottom line is that Amy and I are home. Home sweet home. There is nothing like your own bed!
