It’s finally here! The thing that the whole world has been waiting for, the ability to hear from me on a daily basis, yea right!
If no one else is excited I know that I, for one, am. It has been a while in the works but has now, (thanks to my lovely wife), become a reality.
My first thought for the day is on the subject of having the heart of a champion. After watching the Suns get gipped in the NBA playoffs it reinforces to me that no matter who you are and what you do that you will always face obstacles to realizing your dreams that you did not anticipate. Maybe you don’t know what happened but the details are not important. The bottom line is this: if you have the heart of a champion you will expect unfairness and every other possible obstacle to come against you and yet in some way you find the heart to prevail. As bad as I hate to admit it, the Suns just didn’t have the heart of a champion when it counted, will you?
I’m Floating Like a Big River Hippo! This is awesome words of wisdom from Dr. Ba La La!By the way prayer was awesome Saturday night. It was flowing all night! Pastor Joel :) This is great, I am so excited, to see you have your blog! You are right, I am thinking when you talk about “no mater who you are” About Joshua how he did not inquire of The Lord, and got into some trouble, he was Head lead, not Spirit lead, that is why it is so important to be open and yielded in the fullness to The Spirit. Anyway, this is so awesome, that you have this top-notch blog going on!
The coolest youth pastor in the world finally got a website- this is too good to be true!
Joel,it is good to see that you have got your own site now. I am a youth pastor out of alabama and your messages and the fire of God that you have has encouraged me many times when i have felt somewhat defeated. I really love the River Hippo. Our students are now wanting to become River Junkies.LOL Anyway i just wanted to say hi and that we can’t wait to get down to upside down. It is going to be awesome fo sure.

I thank God for you Joel!
My prayers and my heart are with you, Pastor Joel, and with Sis. Amy. You are an encouragement to me, as we wait for the full natural manifestation of healing. May God give the doctors wisdom and understanding.
Dear Young Pastor Joel & Wife Amy:
Our prayers and support are continuously with you both. God is so good. The end is always good and the battle is always won in His name. The ‘cloud of witnesses’ cheer us on daily from the heavenly balconies . . . Just think, Paul, Peter, loved ones gone on before and of course the Lord Jesus himself! What a mighty ‘pep squad’.
In Christ,
Sis. Cheryl Major Brandon
