Night of Vision

Wednesday, May 30th, 2007

On Tues. night the 29th we had a tremendous event at the North facility. Thanks to my darling wife Amy, the leadership of Bethany North enjoyed a night of fun, food, and giveaways. For me it was a time of new beginning for our North campus as Amy and I begin our journey as shepherds of this awesome flock. It was our first banquet of sorts and I could feel the sense of excitement and anticipation at all God is going to do in this new chapter of Bethany’s long history. What a joy and delight to be in the will of God and to do something that is so rewarding! It is always amazing to me how God equips a couple to do a work for Him. There is no doubt in my mind that God specifically chose Amy to be the first lady of this awesome church and instilled within in me the love, passion, and vision to take our beloved North to the next level and beyond.
The vision God gave me for this time and season is exciting and I cannot wait to see it all come into fruition as I know revival wil follow the fulfillment of these core values of prayer, evangelism, and discipleship. What excitement and satisfaction will come at the end of these first pursuits given by the Holy Spirit. The verse in my spirit was from Hab. 2 where God said to him, Write the vision out and make it plain that he may run who reads it.

Sense of Destiny

Tuesday, May 29th, 2007

This last Saturday night was really a moment of destiny for me. As our prerecorded portion of the thecall national prayer rally aired live on Godtv I was overwhelmed with the sense of destiny. It was as if the HS was saying to me, This is what I have prepared for. I know beyond a doubt that a moral and spiritual revolution is coming to our nation. This revolution will be led by men and women of God who have given their all to the Master and possess an apostolic\prophetic mandate for this generation. These qualifications describe my heart cry. What a great feeling to know that God is doing something big ( as always) and that He has chosen me to to be apart of the leadership of that big move. It is my prayer for all my disciples that they would find the sense of destiny in their lives. I have felt that sense many times from when I first preached a message at a small church in Slaugher, La. to standing at the altar on my wedding day in St. Thomas, VI. This sense of destiny brings confirmation to me that despite the great price paid God is orchestrating my steps and all is on track for the fulfillment of my God-given destiny. I leave you with a Scripture from 2 Tim. 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished th race, and I have remained faithful!!!

I’m excited.

It’s finally here! The thing that the whole world has been waiting for, the ability to hear from me on a daily basis, yea right!

If no one else is excited I know that I, for one, am. It has been a while in the works but has now, (thanks to my lovely wife), become a reality.

My first thought for the day is on the subject of having the heart of a champion. After watching the Suns get gipped in the NBA playoffs it reinforces to me that no matter who you are and what you do that you will always face obstacles to realizing your dreams that you did not anticipate. Maybe you don’t know what happened but the details are not important. The bottom line is this: if you have the heart of a champion you will expect unfairness and every other possible obstacle to come against you and yet in some way you find the heart to prevail. As bad as I hate to admit it, the Suns just didn’t have the heart of a champion when it counted, will you?
